Dockins, Alfred John of Mesquite, TX, born August 21, 1947 in San Antonio, TX passed away September 28, 2014. Preceded in death by parents: Rex A Dockins and Ethel F Dockins; sisters, Emma R Tolleson and Helen Colbath. Survived by his wife of 46 years Edith Carol Dockins; children, Patricia Dockins and Jennifer Rust; grandson, Braden Dockins. Service will be held at 2:00 Pm October 10, 2014 at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 E. Hwy. 80, Sunnyvale, TX. 75182. Interment will be 11:15AM Friday October 10, 2014 at the DFW National Cemetery in Dallas. The family has requested that memorials be made to a Veterans charity of your choice.
