Allie Lee Wheat, 87 years old, passed away on September 25, 2014 in Baylor Hospital of Dallas, Texas.She was born on January 31, 1927 to Dell and Iva Sadler and raised in Limestone County.She moved to Dallas, met and fell in love with her husband of 67 years, Aubrey Wheat. Her favorite times were just being with her Aubrey, stopping at flea markets, antique and garage sales, attending church and taking church trips with their many friends from Gethsemane and Friendship Baptist, family trips to Colorado and the lake along with family gatherings for special occasions. Allie was a breast cancer survivor and lost her life to an infection due to a broken leg. Allie was preceded in death by her mother and father, sister Callie Burke and her husband Frankie along with their son Wayland, her brothers Jack, Benton and John Earl Sadler.Allie is survived by her treasured husband Aubrey of Scurry, Texas.Daughter Phyllis and her husband S. L. Waller of McKinney, their children and grandchildren – Greg and Tonia Waller, Rachel and David of Frisco; Lori and J. P. Kearney, Ella, Jack and Olivia of McKinney.Son Terry Wheat and his wife Pam of Scurry, their children and grandchildren – Susan and Tommy White, Dhomaneq, Dylan and Carter of Forney; Wesley Wheat and Misti Darouse of Seagoville. Niece Linda Diers and husband Ken of LaGrange, Texas. Along with numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins. Remembrances of Allie’s life with friends and family will start with visitation on Monday, September 29th from 5 to 7 p.m. and service on Tuesday, September 30th at 10:00 a.m., both at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 US Hwy 80, Sunnyvale, Texas.This will be followed by interment at Grove Hill Cemetery, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, Texas.
