Betty Lou Barton

Betty Jones Barton Edwards born November 26, 1942 to Alpha Robert and Ethel Mae Martin Jones. Preceded in death by parents Alpha and Ethel Jones, husband of 41 years Hugh Barton, son Randy Barton, brothers Alpha Robert Jones Jr., Ora Lee Jones, Ross William Jones and Martin Glen Jones. Survived by daughter and son in law Tamera and Craig, son Timothy, son and daughter in law Robert and Tonya.Grandsons Jared, Jacob, Jonah, Brian and granddaughters Courtney and Tawny.Sisters Johnnie Jones Potter and Marie Jones McClellan and many nieces, nephews and cousins.Betty is also survived by many special hand picked daughters, who shared her life and she had the honor of mothering at different times of their lives Alma Barton, Melissa Barton, Lori Fitzgerald, Karen English, Roxann Pais Cotroneo and Sandra Jennings. Betty is also survived by childhood friends and sisters in Christ Sharon Matney Humphrey, Gail Tumey Cogburn and Francis Jackson. Betty was fortunate to find love again after the loss of her husband Hugh by marrying George Edwards.Additionally she is survived by her husband George Edwards, son by marriage Mike, son and daughter in law by marriage Kevin and Elisha and grandchildren by marriage Felicia, TJ, Courtney, Brianna and Zachary. Betty had a beautiful smile, the most loving heart and the precious touch of a mother.She will be missed dearly and loved forever.
