On the morning of Saturday, September 6, 2014, Bobby Glen Forrest passed away unexpectedly at his home in Sunnyvale, Texas. Bobby was born on April 4, 1969, in Temple, Texas to Billy Glen Forrest and Mary (Weber) Forrest.He graduated from Belton High School in 1987.He proudly served his country as a Fireman Apprentice in the United States Coast Guard from 1987 to 1989.Bobby had a life-long love of science and nature, and in 1998 he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi. Bobby married Heather (Fossen) Forrest on November 6, 1999, in Spicer, Minnesota.Their marriage was blessed with two children; a daughter, MaryAnn in 2006, and a son, Benjamin in 2012. Bobby was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed camping and fossil hunting in his spare time.He was a wonderful cook and loved reading.He could often be found tending his garden and was known for finding or creatingtreasures from someone else’s trash.He was a loving husband, father, son, grandson and friend and he will be deeply missed by many. Bobby is survived by his wife of 14 years, Heather;daughter, MaryAnn Eileen; son, Benjamin Glen; grandmother, Billie Forrest; parents, Billy and Silvia Forrest; brothers, Christopher (Merida) Forrest, Danny (Emily) Ramirez, and Wesley Forrest; sister, Erika Ramirez; and numerous nieces and nephews. Bobby was precededin death by his grandfather, Dean Ross Forrest and his mother, Mary (Weber) Forrest. Blessed be his memory, may he rest in peace.
