Carl D. Gore

Carl D Gore, Jr. of Forney, born April 8, 1955 passed away June 12, 2013. Carl was diagnosed with an advanced cancer only weeks ago, he was firm in his faith and was surrounded by his family as he passed. He was preceded in death by his parents Julia and Carl Gore, Sr.; sisters, Arvelene Frey and Cheryl Brashear; sister in-law, Shirley Owens and husband Scotty. Carl is survived by his wife of 30 years, Cindy; son, Jason Gore and wife Glenda; son, Carl Gore, III and wife Laura; daughter, Staci Gore; grandchildren, Madyson and Skylar; brother, Gary Gore and wife Pat; brother, Charlie Gore and wife Matilda; numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws. Memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Fellowship Forney. The family will receive friends at New Hope Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. " 8:00 p.m.
