At the time of his death he was actively involved at Lake Pointe Church Town East in Mesquite serving the Lord as an usher, prayer warrior, many acts of service/helps, and involvement with the senior life groups and church wide senior activities, and recently Grief Share. Each Wednesday he went with a group to visit those seeking assistance at Sharing Life and attending to their prayer needs. If you look in his Bible, it is filled with names and the needs of others. Danny had the opportunity to travel to Piedras Negras for a mission trip June 2014 and he fell in love with the church team and those in Piedras Negras and was looking forward to more mission trips. He and wife Linda (the “A” Team) enjoyed serving together at church as often as they could. Even stocking the auditorium each week was an act of service and obedience to the Lord. Danny loved to impersonate Elvis and Wolfman Jack and rock and roll music of the 1950s and 60s. Having the gift of hospitality he loved to spend fun time with others. He was of a competitive nature competing in baseball, billiards, and anything he set out to conquer he did so with all his might.
