Darrell Cassady

Darrell was born in Dallas, Texas on June 2, 1962. He left his earthly home to enter his heavenly home on November 21, 2015. Darrell's life on earth was unique.He spent about 45 years suffering from Epilepsy. His parents knew at 10 months, when he developed this handicap, that his life would never be the same. Through much prayer and extreme dedication, Darrell grew up to be an amazing, intelligent, loving servant of God. In 2007 he agreed to a surgery that would possibly heal him from Epilepsy.God healed Darrell from Epilepsy using great doctors and a successful surgery. Darrell knew his life would never be the same. In February 2014, Darrell was diagnosed with Stage 3 of Pancreatic Cancer.Although, he knew his life would be shortened, it didn't stop him from being a servant of God. His love for the AWANA Ministry, his heart for missions and his desire to share Jesus Christ with others never lessened because of his illness. Darrell's life on earth was one of the most inspirational lives many have ever witnessed. And now, in heaven, we all know his life will never be the same. Survived by his parents: Carlton and Lois Cassady. Brothers/spouses: Mike and Kim Cassady, Larry and Kristy Cassady.Sisters/spouses:Beverly and Randy Burnett, Marlene and Aaron Chapman, Sharlene and Dan Surbrook. Many nephews and nieces, uncles and aunts, cousins.
