Helen Juanita Fuller

On July 30, 1945, on a small family farm in Fannin County, Texas, David Hariel Malone and Juanita Christina Malone welcomed their first child, a beautiful baby girl.They named her Helen Juanita Malone.She was the firstborn of seven children.In time, Helen met John Paul Fuller.They were married November 20, 1965.Over the next few years, Helen gave birth to three daughters, Shana Marie, Kendra Kay and Amanda Dawn. In 1978, Helen and Paul founded Full Color, Inc., a professional photography lab.Helen became known and respected for her business acumen and ethics, and together, she and Paul built Full Color into a well-respected national photography lab. Helen was an active member of Emmanuel Pentecostal Church, where she attended from the time she was twelve years old until her death.She served as Ladies Auxiliary Leader, Sunday School Teacher, and Care Group leader throughout her lifetime. Helen was a wonderful hostess, with such a love for people that her family and friends knew without asking that their friends were also welcome to attend any gathering at her home.She had a unique ability to love those who needed her.She was mother to the motherless, sister to the sisterless, aunt, friend, Nana and Nana Helen to all who knew her.She showed her love with her welcoming smile and laid back hospitality.Helen was happiest when in the kitchen preparing for a ladies tea, family dinner, book club, neighbors party, or another gathering. One of Helens passions was travel.In the summer of 1998, she accompanied her friend, Janet Peterson, to Vietnam where Janet adopted her son, Jeremy Hong. A few years later, Janet returned to Vietnam and adopted Rose Anh.Helen again opened her heart and became Nana to Jeremy and Rose. Helen slipped from this world on Friday, May 24, 2013, at the age of 67, after a battle with breast cancer.She was preceded in death by her mother, Juanita Christina Nolen Malone and her daughter, Shana Marie Fuller.She is survived by her husband of 47 years, John Paul Fuller of Forney, daughter and son-in- law Kendra and Steve Pullin, daughter Amanda Fuller, grandchildren, Stephen Austin Pullin and Savannah Marie Pullin, all of Rockwall; as well as her father, David Hariel Malone of Dallas, her brothers, Keith and Kathie Malone of Plano, Jerry and Sally Malone of Irving, David Malone of Dallas, Kelvin and Gilma Malone of Dallas, Rex and Kim Malone of Forney, her sister, Janice Malone Eldredge of Forney, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She will be missed.
