Horace T. White

Horace Troy White, 76, of Waurika, Oklahoma, passed on Friday, November 22, 2013. He was born to the late Jesse Monroe and Birdie White on February 1, 1937. He was an esteemed member of the United States Air Force for 4 years. While married to his wife of 53 years, they ran a daycare in Garland, Texas where they shared their love of children with others. Horace also worked at ESystems and Raytheon on military aircraft engineering and technology. He retired from Raytheon after 30 years of employment. He is preceded in death by his wife, Doris Ann White, his brother, Joe Marson and his sister, Pat Eades. Horace is survived by his daughter-in-law, Jennifer White, grandchildren, Troy Langdon White, Brooke Cheri White and Nicole Cheri White, great grandchild, Braxeton Ray Miller, his sisters, Helen Tyson and Martha Logsdon and numerous nephews and nieces. A viewing will be held on Monday, November 25, 2013 at five in the evening at New Hope Funeral Home. The funeral is on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at two in the afternoon also at New Hope Funeral Home with a military graveside service immediately following at New Hope Memorial Gardens.
