Preceded in death by parents: Homer & Myrtle Lewis; Brother: Cecil Lewis; Sisters: Marie Kyser & Opal Lewis; Daughter: Novena Carnes; 2 great granddaughters; Husband: Walter Melton. Survived by children: Sharon & Leslie Johnson, Darrell & Marjorie McCoy; 21 Grandchildren; 3 Great Grandchildren;numerous nieces and nephews. Service will be 2:00PM Tuesday March 12, 2013 at Christian Center of Mesquite, 4401 E. Cartwright Rd.,, Mesquite, TX. 75181. Visitation Monday evening at the funeral home from 5:00PM - 7:00PM. Interment to follow in New Hope Memorial Gardens, Sunnyvale, TX.
