Jerry Wayne Petty

Jerry Wayne Petty Sr. was born on November 8, 1941 and passed away on February 10, 2017. Jerry is preceded in death by wife of 39 years, Joann Petty, his parents: Marvin and Inez Petty; brothers: Buddy Petty, Bruze Petty, Bit Petty, and Bobby Petty. Jerry is survived his children: Lisa Salts and husband Greg, Ronnie Jarrett, Jerry Petty Jr. and wife Jessica, Angel Petty, grandchildren: Crystal and Cassandra Salts, Tyler Worthington, Skylar Jarrett, Colby Worthington, Emily Petty; great grandchildren: Harlee Scott, Autumn McMahon, Rylee Scott, Braxtyn Worthington; and sisters: Belva Gilreath and Sister Petty. A visitation will be held for Jerry on Tuesday Evening February 14, 2017 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale, Texas. Funeral Service will be on Wednesday February 15, 2017 at 12:00PM at New Hope Funeral Home with interment to follow at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas.
