Judy C. Carter, born July 9, 1944 in Dallas, Texas to Alfred and Dorothy Ellis.She passed away on April 26, 2013. She is preceeded in death by her father, Alfred Ellis; stepfather, Edward Smith; brother, Michael Grant Smith.She is survived by her children; Kyle Carter, Eric Carter, and Stacey Eastep; grandchildren; G. J. Kinne, McLane Carter, Desmond Pollard, Addyson Eastep, and Braden Eastep.Also survived by her mother, Dorothy Smith; brothers, Mike Ellis, Gerald Ellis, Ronnie Smith, and sister, Linda Nelson and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and loved ones. Services will be at New Hope Funeral Home on Monday, April 29, 2013, at 12:00 noon.The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00 at the funeral home.
