Kathryn A. Kemp

Kathryn Ann Kemp passed away on October 20th, 2013.She was born in Abilene, Kansas on August 25, 1950. Kathy graduated from Bryan Adams High School in 1968.She received a Bachelors Degree in Education in 1972 from North Texas State University and a Master Degree in Elementary Education in 1983 from East Texas State University.Kathy was an educator for 29 years, teaching 26 years in Mesquite ISD at McWhorter Elementary (10 yrs) and Cannaday Elementary (16 yrs). Kathy was proceeded in death by her parents Albert J Dubois, Beverly Ann Dubois and her sister Cindy Ann Grammar. She is survived by her husband, two sons, two daughter in laws, four grandchildren, brother and two sisters- in- law. Funeral service will be 1:00PM Wednesday October 23, 2013 at New Hope Funeral Home. Family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5PM to 7PM at the funeral home. As an advocate of the American Cancer Society and Animal Rescue Groups, donations can be made to such groups in lieu of flowers in Kathy’s name.
