Preceded in death by husband of 13 years; Emil "Bud" Springer; parents, Robert Louis Ashford and Helen Lucile Decker Ashford; brother, Robert Ashford, Jr.; sisters, Frances Ashford Sherrard, Gladys Grout, Lillian Garrett, Gloria Harlan; son, Charles Walter Cantrell. Survived by daughter, Janice Burger; grandchildren, Joe & Jason Bockemehl; great grandchildren, Alexis, Jason, Jr., Taylor, Max and Maya Bockemehl; brother, Paul Ashford. Service will be 2:00PM Saturday August 23, 2014 at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 E. Hwy. 80, Sunnyvale, TX. 75182. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 5:00PM - 7:00PM. Interment will be in New Hope Memorial Gardens.
