Luis Angel Solano

All my life all I’ve ever wanted to do was to live creatively. Growing up, I found myself naturally drawn to the arts. Whether it was drawing, painting, photography, or film I was always practicing my craft striving for more. Little did I know that this journey would lead me to where I am today. Not as an artist in any traditional sense. But instead, very unexpectedly, I am a year away from finishing my undergraduate degree in Aerospace engineering, with a minor in Mechanical engineering. Creativity is the ability to bring an idea into the real world, and as engineers, this creative drive is what leads to a better future. Upon graduating, a career in the space industry, in my mind, is the ultimate measure of success. This dream has led me this far in my education and with the help of this scholarship, I will be that much closer to fulfilling my dream. - Luis Angel Solano We'll always love you
