Martha Lou Plummer

Martha Lou Hall Plummer was born March 24, 1931 in Mexia, Texas to John B. Hall and Callie Russell Hall and passed into Jesus’ arms on April 13, 2014, just after her 83rd birthday. Although she grew up in Mexia, Martha spent the majority of her life in the Casa View area of Dallas. Over her life she was a member of Casa View Baptist Church for many years and employed at Sears, various locations, in the audit department for 20 years until she retired June 30, 1987. She loved her family and friends cherished every minute spent with them at family gathering, get-togethers, She was preceded in death by her parents, John B. and Callie Hall; her brother, John B. (Red) Hall; and sister, Lanelle Armstrong. Survived by husband of 66 years, Gerald A. Plummer, Sr.; sons, Gerald (Jerry) A. Plummer, Jr. & wife, Patricia of Forney; Perry Plummer & wife, Jeanette of Mesquite; granddaughters, Sunni Marrs & husband Corey of Forney, Shelli Ragle & husband, David of Forney; great granddaughters, Erin Chamberlain of Weatherford, Megan Marrs of Forney; great grandsons: Dominick, Noah, and Christian of Forney; great great granddaughter, Kaylee of Weatherford; sister Mary Dorris of Fort Worth; brother-in-law Curtis Plummer of Bremond; sister-in-laws Dorothy Armstrong of San Antonio; Josie Plummer of Groesbeck; nephews Calvin and Tim Dorris of Fort Worth; nieces Ann Robertson of Fort Worth and Kay Horn of Corpus Christi. Service will be at 1:30PM Wednesday April 16, 2014 at Sunnyvale First Baptist Church Chapel, 3018 N. Belt Line Road, Sunnyvale, Texas 75182.
