Maxine Bagby

W. Maxine Bagby, 60, of Mesquite, died Friday. She was born to the late Berlin and Dorothy Windham, Dec 16, 1954, in Center, TX. Maxine graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1972. She married Steve Bagby in 1974, and they lived together in Garland TX., before relocating to Mesquite in 1985. Maxine was an active member of Berean Baptist Church and the MS Society. She loved to spend time with her family and loved her children and grandchildren. She was a great vocalist and enjoyed singing at church in the church choir. Maxine is survived by her husband: Steve Bagby of Mesquite; two children: Matt Bagby (Jamie, Wife) of Mansfield; and Sara Bagby, of Garland; She also is survived by two grandchildren, Caleb and Luke Bagby; and her Sister, Pauline Books (Steve, Husband) of Duncanville. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to assist with funeral cost. A viewing will be held at 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at New Hope Funeral Home. Funeral will be held at 11:00a.m. on Wednesday at Berean Baptist Church, 302 Town East BLVD, Sunnyvale, TX 75182. Burial will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Wofle City, TX.
