Norma Jean Elam

Norma Jean (Birchfield) Elam was born to Mary Elizabeth and John Henry Birchfield on November 23, 1929 and passed away on March 10, 2018. Norma is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Elam; son, Billy Elam; granddaughters: Scarlett Elam, Amy Elam; brother, Kenneth Birchfield;and parents: Mary and Henry Birchfield. Norma is survived by her daughter, Elaine Reven and husband, Ronnie; son, Tom Elam and wife Glenda; granddaughter, Lisa Adams and husband John; grandson, Matt Reven and wife Traci; grandson, Chris Drewry and wife Christina; grandson, Keith Drewry and wife DeAnn; great grandchildren: Shawn, Shane Carter, Alexa, Michaela, Gabe, Tyler, Mason, Abby, Gavin, Brock, Kinley, Easton; dear friend, Dave Daniel. Norma lived in Mesquite since 1950, she never met a stranger.Norma loved traveling and spending time with her family. A visitation will be held for Norma on Tuesday March 13, 2018 from 5:00PM-7:00PM at New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale, Texas with special words and prayer from Rochelle Smith. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Evans Senior Center 1116 Hillcrest Mesquite, Texas in honor of Norma Elam.
