Ova Justine Bauer

Ova Justine Bauer of Mesquite,beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, went home to be with the Lord on November 4, 2014. Preceded in death by husband of 66 years, Carl A. Bauer; parents, Jesse and Ardina McDonald; brothers, Horace McDonald, Clyde McDonald; sisters, Estelle Sellers, Wilma McCormick and Jalaska Jones. Survived by daughter, Carla R. Villa & husband, David;granddaughter, Laura L. Hanlon & husband, Billy; great grandson, Shawn Michael Hanlon; sister, Imogene Terry, numerous nieces and nephews; and her faithful dog that adored her, Choux Choux. Ova Bauer was born February 5, 1926 in Blue Ridge, Texas where she grew up and then moved to Dallas where she met the love of her life, Carl.Ova enjoyed spending her time with family and friends, cooking, decorating and antiquing.She was a member of the Pleasant Terrace Baptist church for 65 years. Visitation will be on Friday, November 7, 2014 from 5-7pm at New Hope Funeral Home.A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at the Blue Ridge Cemetery in Blue Ridge, Texas.
