Terry Lee Spivey

Terry Lee Spivey was born on April 1, 1948 in Commerce, TX to Daniel Floyd & Martha Lee Spivey.He passed away peacefully on Friday July 17, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. He was preceeded in death by his parents; Daniel Floyd & Martha Lee Spivey,brother Gerald Floyd "Bud" Spivey, sisters Sandra Nell Spivey & Grace Cheryl Wharton. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Mildred Lee Camper "Sam" Spivey of Mesquite, TX. Children: Rodney Edward Spivey and wife Meganne of Sherman, TX and Kelly Vanessa Davis and husband Tommy of Forney, TX. Grandchildren: Daniel Joseph Spivey of Fort Worth, TX, Ashlea Lauren Vanderbilt of Dallas, TX and Anthony Bryce Spivey of Fort Campbell, KY. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends. Terry was a 1966 graduate from H. Grady Spruce High School.He also attended Eastfield Community College.He served our country in the United States Navy from 1967 to 1971. He was employed with Dal-Tile for many years until he was diagnosed with Ocular Histoplasmosis. Terry had a love for music, drag racing, golf and NASCAR. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be greatly missed by many.
