William "Bill" Naugle

William (Bill) Joseph Naugle, 32, of Denton, TX. passed away suddenly on Saturday February 10, 2018. Bill was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on October 14, 1985 to parents Robert and Kay Naugle. Bill enlisted in the Marine Corps. his junior year of high school. Upon graduation from high school in 2004 he served 4 years of active duty and was stationed in North Carolina and Okinawa, Japan. He also deployed to Iraq to participate in Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2005-2006. During his last year of active duty, Bill was blessed to become a father to Domanic, born at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina in 2007. After his honorable discharge, Bill followed dear friend and fellow Marine, Grant Paschali for employment in Texas with Shermco based in Irving, Texas.He then continued schooling by attending and graduating from Fire Academy and acquiring a position as a fireman with the Corsicana, Texas Fire Department. He discovered a passion for the medical field while firefighting and continued his education in that direction.Upon graduating nursing school he obtained a position at the Lewisville Medical City as R.N. with the night shift crew in the E.R. Bill grew up in Michigan which fostered a love for the outdoors.You could often find him in the gym lifting weights and improving his well toned body and biceps!One of Bill’s special characteristics was his good looks and charm.Many a person, man or woman were known to stare uncontrollably at him.When asked why he would reply “Oh, I get that all the time!” probably answering while showing a flexed bicep.Bill could be described as sweet, loving, kind, a faithful friend and companion, and devoted father.His humerous personality would appear when making his son smile or laugh. Bill is preceded in death by his grandparents: William and Joanne Langford and Paul Naugle Sr. Bill is survived by his beloved partner, Chelsey Richards; sons: Domanic Naugle, Tristen and Braeden Richards; parents: Robert and Kay Naugle of Kaufman, Texas.; brother, Robert Jr. (R.J.) and wife Anne; nephew, Josh Bradley; niece, Sammi Bradley all of Lakewood, Washington; and extended family members: Alisha Bland, Caleb Hunt and wife Brooke, Carson and Haidyn Blake Hunt, Caitlin Hunt; grandmother, Shirley Naugle of Michigan and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins. The family wishes to thank everyone for their love and friendship given to Bill.He will be sadly missed by those who have known him. A Memorial Service will be held for Bill on Saturday February 17, 2018 at 10:00AM at New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale, Texas. A reception will follow service at Community Life Church 610 US Hwy 80 Sunnyvale, Texas 75182.
