Home is. As a pastor for over 15 years, I just conducted my 53rd
funeral and first using New Hope.
This process
started a few months back when I came to your facility and purchased
a pre-need for my best friend, that was dieing of cancer. Your
professional manners made it a joy in a sad situation. Your staff
was so concerned and no pressure to spend, spend, spend, like
others have done to me in the past.
I have had
my pre-needs with another company for over 5 years and your price
was close to $2,500 cheaper then mine, in fact I decided to use
your services instead of the one I currently have.
My friend
passed from this life on a Sunday Night at his home. We contacted
you and again your performance was exceptionable. You responded
in a timely manner and when handling my friend’s remains
you demonstrated such care and love.
Continuing
through the process of making arrangements, visitation and the
funeral service you shined liked the brightest star. I believe
the family used ever-available service you offered from pre-needs
to even videoing the service.

Dear Jay and Hutch and the whole staff at New Hope Funeral
Home,
About 4 months ago, your whole staff at New Hope impressed us
greatly when we selected you to handle the final arrangements
for our mother, Sally Newsom. Our whole family was so impressed
by the caring and professional services you lended, at this very
difficult and confusing time in our lives. We got comments from
friends near and far about how the online obituary and picture
slide show was such a personal touch, and how much it was enjoyed.
We, her daughters, still go back to the website and look at it
from time to time, even though we have a computer CD copy of it
for ourselves - another thing you were so thoughtful about providing.
I overheard my cousin during the viewing, saying to her husband,
"I want my pre-planning arrangements done HERE! This is absolutely
beautiful!"
Let's back up now. When Libby and I first viewed her body after
being prepped, we could not believe the way you made her look
so natural. So many times, when you see someone in a casket, their
makeup is too heavy, hair done differently, etc. My mother looked
exactly like she always did, only sleeping! (Which was amazingly
comforting to us) And you guys did this with just a small picture
we provided! From dealing with us financially, to helping things
go so smoothly at the viewing and the funeral, to the final grave
service, - - you guys were just unbelievable. You made everything
so easy for our family in all of the aspects of final arrangements.
You are so compassionate and understanding - all of you!
But then, when things were over and done with - you amazed us
again by providing further services we didn't even expect! A Christmas
ornament - a beautiful glass one, etched with Mom's name! I could
go on and on and on. . . but I know this needs to be kept fairly
short because I want you to post it under your testimonials online!
Jay, our most sincere thanks to you, and all of New Hope's staff,
for making such a difficult time in our lives easier to deal with.
We would recommend your services to anyone seeking answers about
where to go.
