Allen Rupard

R. Allen Rupard AKA Sonny born August 9th, 1936 passed away December 28, 2018 after a prolonged illness. He was preceded in death by his parents Woodrow Rupard and Gertrude Smith Rupard, as well as his sister Peggy Joyce Neal. Allen is survived by his wife of 60 years, Patsy J. Ansley Rupard, son; Mark Allen Rupard and wife Dedra Rupard, grandson; Brady Andrew Rupard, a very special great niece Christina Bates, as well as his 12 nieces and nephews, and 18 great nieces and nephews. Allen graduated from Adamson High School in 1954. Among being an Army Veteran, he was a manufacturer's representative for the photographic industry for over 50 years, as well as an accomplished photographer. Allen was a true Christian who loved his Savior- even through all of his suffering, he never lost faith. Allen and his wife Patsy loved to travel. They traveled extensively in the United States and Canada, as well as to Europe, Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Allen’s Funeral Service is Thursday, January 3rd at 2:00pm at New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale, Texas. Interment will be announced at a later date. His service will be conducted by Reverend Jerry K. Rose, Chairman of the Board of Total Living International.
