Filippo Ciulla of Brussels, Belgim, passed away Friday August 17, 2018 at Presbyterian Hospital.He was born April 30, 1955 in Caltanissetta, Sicily where he was raised until the age of 14 and then moved with his family to Brussels, Belgium.It was there where he found the truth in a storefront building church in Burssels at the age of 15. His first message was preached in Belgium at the age of 16.He came to America at age 18 in the year 1973 and attend Conquerors Bible College in Portland, Oregon.He met his wife, Brenda Joyce Beal and they were marred July 19, 1975.After three years of Bible School, they pastored two different churches in the state of Washington and evangelized in the Northwest.Feeling the call back to Europe they were appointed missionaries with the United Pentecostal Church in 1985 and arrived in Belgium December 31, 1986.After taking over the small group of believers in Brussels, there is now eight churches started from there, with eighteen licensed ministers.He continued Bible School training programs and starting new churches until December 2015 when his sickness prevented him from continuing.The work continues with the nationals as of today.He also participated in starting works in Switzerland and Luxembourg.He was preceded in death by his father, Luigi Ciulla and mother Filippa Terranova and two brothers Salvatore and Vincenzo.He is survived by Brenda Ciulla, his wife of 43 years, his son, Tony Ciulla and spouse Christina Ciulla and his four grandchildren, John, Sofia, Eva and Alina.
