Glenda Lee Tekell Smith was born on March 3, 1937 and passed away on January 7, 2020. Glenda is preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Myron F. Smith; parents: Lee Edward Tekell and Laura Emily Tekell; daughter, Karen Sue Smith; and aunt, Nellie Ely. Glenda is survived by her children: Debra Kay Vela, Pamela Jean Smith, Robert Myron Smith, Stephen Arthur Smith; grandchildren: Sarah Grace Vela, Samuel David Vela, Michael Austin Smith, Mariel Erin Vela-Gutierrez, Emily Ann Evans, Catherine Alyssa Door; great grandchildren: Graciela Isabel Rodriguez, Lucas Joshua Rodriguez, Christianna Grace Rodriguez, Ava Elise Evans; daughters-in-law,Brigitta Lynn Smith, Jana Sue Smith; son-in-law, Ismael Vela; grandsons-in-law, Antonio Gutierrez, Nick Evans, Brandon Door and granddaughter-in-law, Mia Bernal and Savannah Dosher. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the American Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation.
