Jeriann Lee

October 15, 1938 — January 1, 2020

Jeriann Hardin Lee, affectionately known as “Jeri” by many who loved her, was born on October 15, 1938. She went home to be with her Lord on January 1, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Georgia Hardin and sister, LaVonne Littlejohn. Jeriann is survived by her sons, Giles Lee, Jr. and wife Saunja of Garland, Texas; Jeff Lee and wife Julia of Syracuse, Utah; and Greg Lee and wife Stacy of Garland, Texas. She is also survived by two brothers, Jerry “Sonny” Hardin and wife Diane of California; and Ben Hardin and wife Lonnie of Conroe, Texas. She was blessed to be called “Nana” by 10 Grandchildren, Michael Hessel and wife Kailey of Frisco, Texas; Jessica Farmer and husband Jared of Royce City, Texas; Benjamin, Damaris, Grant, Gideon and Reece Lee of Syracuse, Utah; Meagan, Brandon and Parker Lee of Garland, Texas. She was also blessed with 2 Great-Grandchildren, Nora Ann of Frisco, Texas; and Oliver James of Royce City, Texas; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She grew up in Mesquite, Texas and graduated from Mesquite High School in 1957. Jeriann was a faithful member of Long Creek Baptist church since the age of 16, where she played the piano up until a few years ago. She was also well loved by the Sunnyvale community for her many years of working for Sunnyvale ISD. Jeriann’s family will receive friends at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 East Hwy 80, Sunnyvale, Texas 75182, on Sunday, January 5, 2020 from 5:00-7:00 PM. Services will be at 10:00 AM, on Monday, January 6, 2020 at New Hope Funeral Home. Interment will be at Long Creek Cemetery, Sunnyvale, Texas. Officiating the service will be Bro. Don Ivey. Pallbearers will be family friends; Eddie Holt, Troy Nelson, Scott Prather, Rod Roberson, Tony Roberson, and Terry Woodard. “Her children will rise up and call her blessed”. Proverbs 31:28
