Kevin Wayne Nix

April 16, 1965 – June 15, 2018 Kevin Wayne Nix, 60, of Forney was rescued into the hands of God on Friday, June 15, 2018. Kevin was born on April 16, 1958 to Doris (Kennedy) and Richard Nix. Kevin was known for his funny sense of humor and hard work. He was passionate about his family, his two daughters, and grandkids. Kevin is survived by his wife, Cindy Nix; children: April Cate (Jason) of Southlake and Adalee Oldacre (Jayce) of Forney; grandsons, Drew and Camden Cate; granddaughter, Tinsley Oldacre; mother, Doris Kennedy (Mike); stepmother, Sharon Nix; sibling, RaDonna Huckaby (Mike); stepsiblings; Karen Chatham (Troy); Scot Kennedy; Krisit Kennedy; Stacie Bates (Lee); Jeff Dean (Courtney) Kevin is preceded in death by his dad, Richard Nix; grandparents, Roy and Martha Jones and Ollie Dennie and Lillian Nix. A Celebration of Kevin’s life will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, June 19 at Fellowship Forney. Visitation will be held Monday, June 18, 2018 from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale.
