Newman Earl Helm of Mesquite, was born October 28, 1931 and passed away June 24, 2018.Heis preceded in death by parents, Horace L. Helm and Lota M. Hutchinson; brothers, Larry Helm and James Helm.He is survived by wife of 64 years, Doris Helm; children, Debbie Brunson & husband Ed Brunson; grandchildren, Melody Backus & Robert Backus; great grandchildren, Kaylynn & Jacob Backus; 2 step-great granddaughters, Nicki Backus and Morgan Brown; 2 step-great great grandsons, Riley and Raiden Brown; numerous nieces and nephews.Service will be 10:00AM Thursday June 28, 2018 at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 E. Hwy. 80, Sunnyvale, Texas.Family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 5:00PM - 7:00PM.
