Nina Kincaid Clites

Nina Louise Kincaid Clites Mesquite, TX Having lived a full life of 81 years, Nina Louise (Kincaid) Clites, of Mesquite, TX went home to be with Jesus on November 30, 2018. She was born October 4, 1937 in Cumberland, MD to Frederick and Louise (Miller) Kincaid, both now deceased. She is preceded in death by her brother Butch and sister in-law Louise Kincaid. She leaves behind a brother Bill and sister in-law Teresa Kincaid. She was a strong independent woman. She left behind her value in the importance of family, working hard for what you earn in life, and caring for the environment so that it will be useful in the future. She raised, what she would say, 4 perfect kids. They took her love and her values and sprung many more branches to pass on her legacy. She is survived by her son Charles S. Clites Jr. and spouse Nancy of Rowlett, TX, her daughter Faye L. DeMasters and spouse Eddie of Forney, TX, her son Edgar W. Clites and spouse Dorinda of Garland, TX, and her son Thomas L. Clites and spouse Brian Harrelson of Austin, TX. She took great pride in her 11 grandchildren, Ryan May, Kendall Hefner, Evan Clites, Annabelle Clites, Jessie Clites, Sarah Clites, Jennifer Scott, Melissa Holland, Mindi Blake, Kalli Suarez, Joeli Clites, and her 9 great grandchildren, Daden Hefner, Asher Hefner, Logan Hefner, Jacob Scott, Jason Scott, Jack Scott, Jameson Scott, Elijah Holland, and Addie Blake. She was a military wife, which allowed her to travel the United States until settling in Texas in 1975.Once in Texas she took a job working for LaQuinta Inn doing laundry and retired from there in 2002. Her many hobbies included dancing, bowling, ceramics, embroidery painting, but most of all she loved doing laundry, mowing lawns, and gardening. She also had a special place in heart for dogs and made sure to always have a bone in her pocket for them. Although we will miss Nina dearly, we rejoice that she is in heaven. She is no longer in pain from arthritis or suffering from Alzheimer’s. We will cherish our memories, pass down the values she taught us, and share the love that she gave us.
