Valerie Denise Ardis

Valerie Denise Ardis, 47, passed away Saturday, January 4th, 2020, at Methodist Medical Center of Dallas. Valerie was preceded by father John Rowland and step-father Charles Spoor. Valerie is survived by husband of 8 years Vic Ardis, mother LaDon Spoor, son Matthew James and wife Summer, son Jacob James, brother Mike Spoor and wife Susan, nephew Clayton Spoor, wife Payton, and their three sons, and niece Candace Anness, husband John, and their three sons. Valerie was born December 13th, 1972 to John and LaDon Rowland in Garland, Texas. She married James Victor Ardis, Jr. on March 11th, 2011 in Garland, Texas. She worked as a hairstylist and cosmetology instructor. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending weekends in San Antonio, pampering her three dogs, and trying new flavors in the kitchen. Visitation will be held from 2 to 3 pm on Thursday, January 9th, 2020 at New Hope Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held directly afterwards at 3 pm at the same location. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery. Arrangements are by New Hope Funeral Home. Flowers may be sent in memory of Valerie, or, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Valerie’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
