Wilfred Henry Louis Beich

Wilfred Henry Louis Beich was born on August 30, 1926 in McLeod Co, Minnesota and went to be with his Lord Jesus Christ after a long and faithful life, on March 11, 2020 at his son’s home in Forney, Texas. Wilfred is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth May Beich (Wieweck). He is also preceded in death by his parents William and Martha Beich (Tabbert), sisters (Agnes Martin, Luella Hahn), brother (Rueben Beich) and grandson James Beich. He is survived by his sons; Ronald Beich and family (Avis, Jeremy, Sherran) of Las Cruces, NM and Bruce Beich and family (Katherine, Kyle, Lindsey) of Forney, TX. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked for the Federal Aviation Administration for 30 years. He worked at various assignments in Texas and New Mexico. His early family years included being a Boy Scout leader in addition to church responcibilities. Wilfred found true fulfillment in worshipping and serving his Lord during his many years. He helped in the founding the Lutheran Church of the Cross, prior to in his years at Evangelical Free Church both in Las Cruces, NM. He served with many friends in the Gideon’s International and as local camp and state president positions. He went on a missionary trip to spread the Gospel in Guyana, Africa. After his retirement,Will and Ruth enjoyed serving with the Mobile Missionary Assistance Program (MMAP), as they travel across the southwest working on a variety of different building projects. When his wife Ruth’s health began to decline, he transitioned to teaching his seniors Sunday school class. He spent his last years, studying the Bible extensively with his friends at Lakeridge Bible Church in Mesquite, TX. He will be laid to rest, with the love of his life Ruth at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send any memorials to the Gideon’s International.
