Alice G. Duran, age 75 of Royse City, Texas, passed away Sunday January 02, 2022. She was born in Mathis, Texas February 24, 1946 to the late Thomas Gusman and Alicia Moya.
Alice Duran was an LVN for 30+ years doing what she loved most which was taking care of others.
Despite her hectic schedule, family, friends and worshiping god was her passion.
Alice preceded her husband Jesse H. Duran, Sr. of 43 years of marriage.
She preceded in death her brother Thomas Gusman, Jr. and sister Rosemary Motie.
Alice is survived by her 3 kids Jesse Duran, Jr. and wife Brandi Prince, Bobby Duran and wife Tracy Fox, and Lorrie Cooper & husband Richard Cooper, Jr.; her sisters Elaida Mohr, Ofelia Koelsch, Margie Ryles and brother Marcus Gusman,
5 grandkids, 7 great grandkids and a number of other relatives and close friends.
Visitation will be from 6pm – 8 p, Monday, January 10, 2022 at New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale, Texas. Funeral service to celebrate Alice’s life will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 2pm at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 E. US Hwy 80, Sunnyvale, Texas 75182.
Burial to follow at New Hope Memorial Gardens, Sunnyvale, Texas.
