Alice Lucille Morris Guinn, 95, was granted her angel wings on December 29, 2021. She passed away at peace in her home which she shared with her caregiver daughters. She had an incredible sense of humor, generous heart and was not shy about speaking her mind. “Memaw” was a wonderful woman that was loved, is missed, and will always be cherished.
Alice’s story starts on June 5, 1926, the youngest child of T.J. and Genia Morris. She spent her childhood in Grand Saline, Texas before moving to Dallas where she raised her children. Alice retired from Texas Instruments after 35 years of service.
She was predeceased by her parents, 5 brothers, 4 sisters and the love of her life Morris Smith. She is survived by her children Dan Guinn and wife Patty, Pat Royster and husband Jerry, Bobby Guinn and wife Laurie, Nancy Lowe and Jan Riordan and partner Matt Milzanowski. She was blessed with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visiting hours are from 6-8 on Monday, January 3, 2022 at New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale, Texas.
A graveside ceremony will be held Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Creagleville Cemetery in Grand Saline, Texas.
