Amy Leigh Gillispie was 41 at the time of her death. She lived in Sunnyvale with her husband Matt and her daughter Paisley.
Amy was a devoted wife and mother. She attended Mesquite Church of Christ. She was a lifelong learner, had a passion for books and reading. Amy was a creator. She briefly taught art and enjoyed teaching others to do their own art, projects and design. It brought her great joy to throw elaborate themed birthday parties for her daughter Paisley. Traveling was a love of Amy’s and she always needed a trip to look forward to. Her favorite place to go to was Walt Disney World. She also traveled to Peru, Iceland, France, England, Italy and Germany. Disney was definitely her favorite.
Amy enjoyed spending time with her family especially at night. Matt, Paisley and Amy have a loft in their house that they would watch t.v. together cuddled under blankets or cuddled up on pillows. Amy said this was her favorite part of the day.
Most importantly Amy loved God. She wanted nothing more than her family to be closer to him.
Amy is survived by her husband Matt Gillispie, daughter Paisley Gillispie of Sunnyvale; her parents Larry and Jeanie LupPlace of Mesquite; her sister Mollie Kinsworthy, brother in law Brian Kinsworthy of Terrell. She also had three nephews Harrison Kinsworthy, Thomas Kinsworthy and Henry Bennett. One niece Cora Bennett.
She will be forever missed but we are comforted knowing she is in heaven with our Lord and Savior.
