Anna Jo Lewis

Lewis, Anna Jo of Mesquite, Texas born on March 3, 1933 passed away on May 23, 2010. She was preceded in death by father, William Franzle Lewis; mother, Minnie Elizabeth Lewis; brothers William Everett Lewis, E. Ray Lewis, James E. Lewis, Billy Fred Lewis; sister Betty Flo Williamson. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She graduate of Mesquite High School and a member of the girl's basketball team that won the state championship. She retired from Mobil Oil with 42 years of service. She was a life long member of the First Baptist Church of Mesquite. Anna was a great lover of animals, giving sanctuary to many lost and stray cats. Services will be at New Hope Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 26th at 11:00AM. Her family will receive friends Tuesday, May 25th from 6:00pm -8:00pm at the funeral home.
