Betty Kollman

January 18, 1935 — April 7, 2023

Betty Kollman went to be with the Lord on April 7, 2023. Betty was diagnosed with Dementia last year. Betty was born in Helen, Oklahoma on January 18, 1935. Betty’s mother was Willena McNabb, and her father was Jack McNabb. Betty went to school in Oklahoma and during that time she went from seventh grade to nineth grade, she skipped eighth grade because she was very smart. During her time in school, she ran track, and played basketball which was one of her favorite games. She would always tell us how she scored 32 points in a game on a half court. While not in school she would work on the farm. She was such a tomboy. She helped and was a good hand.

Betty later moved to Wichita Falls, Tx. Shortly after divorcing Steve’s dad. She went to work for an insurance company, then a CPA Firm asked Betty to go to Dallas with all expenses paid, which she did. This was more money to help support Steve and provide a better life for them both. Betty was later promoted to Executive Secretary. Betty eventually worked for a new manager that came in from the Whitehouse. He had been working on the Water Gate investigation of President Nixon. Betty worked for Grant Thorton for thirty-two years then retired. Betty was married to Jim Kollman for forty-six years.

Betty is survived by her son, Steve Ream and wife Kay Ream. Her Grandchildren; Jason Ream, his Wife Melissa Ream, their daughter Hayden Ream, Their Sons Jace and Austin Ream.
