Betty Jean Mendoza, born on October 2, 1934, to the parents of Hal Lutrick and Merle Coop in Dallas, Texas. Betty went to be with the Lord on January 3, 2022, at age 87.
Betty was married to Joe Melton. They had four children three sons Rick, Greg, Tim and one daughter Melanie.
Betty was a very resolute mother to her children. She was always there for them.
In 1984, Betty met Robert Mendoza. They have been married for thirty-nine wonderful years. They thought the world of each other Robert was a great provider and took the best of care for Betty, she was his life, and he will miss her very much.
Betty was a kind, caring, and giving person. Everyone loved Betty. She never met a stranger wherever she went. She loved all her children and grandchildren her sister her family and friends
As her child we cherish every moment we were with her and will always keep her in our thoughts. She was a legend to us.
The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill. She will be missed so much and never forgotten.
Betty is predeceased by hers two sons Greg and Tim Melton and parent’s Hal Lutrick and Merle Coop. and other family members
She is survived by Her husband Robert Mendoza, two of her children Rick Melton Wife Maggie and Melanie Williams husband Jeff, seven grandchildren Malorie and Madison Williams, Christopher Melton Wife Brandy, Anthony Boykin Wife Brandi, Angie Huff and Husband, Daughter n law Christy Melton, Tyler wife Samantha, Farrah, JT and Chandler Melton her great grandchildren Rhett Melton, Raelynn and so many others in her family.
