Billy M. Benson

Catfish (Bill M.) Benson, 78 passed away September 6, 2021. Catfish moved to Texas from Covington, Kentucky in 1964. He worked briefly for the Dallas Police Department and Watson Food Service before starting his beloved catfish farm business in Mesquite. Catfish owned and operated Catfish Corner until his failing health in June 2021.

Billy is preceded in death by his father Arthur T. Benson, mother Gladys Pigg Benson, brother Lowell Benson and sister Lois Crane. Catfish and his unique sense of humor will be greatly missed by his friends and customers.
