Billy Hayden

Billy Jack Hayden, went to be with Jesus on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at the age of 97. He was born in Dallas County on May 12, 1926 to parents Edgar Morgan Hayden and Carrie Lee Lewis.

Billy attended school in Tripp, Texas and graduated from Mesquite High School. After graduation, he joined the United States Army and served in Germany during World War II. Soon after his discharge from the Army, Billy worked as a typist. He was then hired by the Federal Reserve Bank where he later became a manager of the loan department for several years. After retirement, he moved back to Sunnyvale, Texas where he remained until his passing.

Billy is preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Carrie Hayden; brother, Winfred Earl Hayden; sister, Joyce May Hayden Gentry; and nephew, Larry Victor Badgley.

He is survived by his niece, Lea Anne Badgley Hargraves; nephew, Lyndon Warren Badgley and wife Sigrid; great-nephews, Matthew Regester, and Jesse Badgley; great-nieces, Carrie Kendra Tobin, Amy Poland, and Jodie McKimmins; and numerous great-great nieces and nephews.
