Brenda Gail Rogers, 59, passed away on November 27, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on March 5, 1966, in Houston, Texas, to her parents Clyde Roy Rogers and Barbara Jo Rogers.
Brenda was a loving wife to Beverly, with whom she shared a life built on partnership, faith, and unwavering devotion.
She was a dedicated mother to Ashley Salazar (Joey), Kellyn Harris (Savannah), and Brandy Rogers and she also cherished her beloved dog Cinnamon. Her greatest joy was her family, and she poured her whole heart into each of them.
She is survived by her siblings Roy (Kelly) Rogers and David (Lupita) Rogers, as well as a large and loving extended family who cherished her deeply.
Brenda also leaves behind her sisters-in-love Lynette Harris, Tanya (Alfred) Dillard, Tatanisha (Elroy) Harris, and Lori (Stan) Jenkins, along with her honorary brother-in-love Horatio Williams, each of whom held a special place in her life.
She was preceded in death by her father Clyde Roy Rogers, her mother Barbara Jo Rogers, her sisters Melissa Goins and Tammy Adams, and her beloved Aunt May Delle, all of whom she carried in her heart throughout her life.
She was blessed with a beautiful legacy of grandchildren: Di'myn, Jaylyn, Joey II, Nathaniel, Aniyah, Tationna, Mahlia, Kellyn Jr., De'Monte, Giovanni, Journey, Kahlani and her three bonus grandchildren: Da'Zion, Malaysia, and Isaac. They were her pride, her joy, and the lights of her life.
Brenda had a restless spirit in the best way and she loved being on the road, always moving and always going, driving just to clear her mind and feel free, and she was a true Dallas Cowboys fan who cheered for her team with all her heart.
Brenda lived with strength, humor, faith, and compassion. She touched countless hearts with her kindness, her laughter, and the way she made others feel seen, loved, and welcomed. Her memory will live on in her children, her grandchildren, her family, and every person whose life she brightened.
A celebration of Brenda's life will be held at New Hope Funeral Home on December 5th, with visitation from 3:00-4:00 p.m. and funeral services to follow at 4:00 p.m. Friends and family are invited to gather in honor of the remarkable woman she was, and we warmly welcome those from Good Shepherd Primitive BC, Stevens Transport, L3 Harris, Mesquite ISD, and J&R Expedited who wish to come and pay their respects.
