Brian Combs

Brian Mark Combs, age 55, of Stephenville, TX, passed away Monday, October 26, 2020. He was born June 27, 1965, in Boulder City, Nevada to Glendol Mathus Combs and Marva B. (Powers) Combs. He married Tammie Lynn Rogers on February 11, 1993, in Plano, Texas.

Brian played trombone in high school and for the local Mesquite Community Band. He served as a foster parent for 17 years. He enjoyed shooting, reading, doing puzzles, playing Bible trivia games on his phone, watching videos on his tablet, collecting gnomes, putting model cars together, and playing practical jokes on people. Most especially though, he loved spending time with his family.

Brian was preceded in death by his father, Glen Combs.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Tammie; mother, Marva B. Combs; children, Ashley and Chris Cox of Forney, TX, Amber Combs of Garland, TX, Brian and Lauren Combs of Irving, TX, and Maria Combs of Stephenville, TX; grandchildren, Liam and Kinley Cox of Forney, TX and Glen Combs of Irving, TX; sister, Shelly Chappell and her husband Phillip of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and brother, Curtis and his wife Denise Combs of Mesquite, TX.
