Brooke Nicole Spurgeon

Brooke Nicole Spurgeon, 22, of Forney, Texas passed away on February 18, 2021.  She was born on June 9, 1998 in Dallas, Texas to Michael Spurgeon and Lisa McCoy.

Brooke attended North Forney High School and was involved in volleyball and softball.  Her greatest passion was playing the game of softball.  Her latest passion and dedication were becoming a mother to her beautiful little girl, Charli.

Brooke was preceded in death by her loving Nana, Faythe McCoy, her Grandparents James and Linda Spurgeon, and her Great Grandmother Willie Maude Sneed.

Brooke is survived by her daughter Charli Kate, by her Father and Stepmother, Michael Spurgeon and Audy Waugh.  By her Mother and Stepfather, Lisa McCoy and John Brewer.  By her Grandfather Ricki McCoy and Step-Grandmother Patsy Darling. By her brother and sister in law, Trey and Nancy Spurgeon.  Her brother and sister, Dylan and Rylee Wimpey.  By her Aunts, Amy Sherman, Lindsey McCoy, and Tricia McCoy and her Uncle Jeremy McCoy.  By her nephew Beckett Spurgeon.  By her cousins Hayden McCoy, Parker Sherman, and Cheyenne Mixon.  Brooke is also survived by many other family members and dear friends.  Also, by her faithful and loving dog, Katie Girl.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at 2:00pm at the New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale, Texas.
