Listen to Obituary

Carlos Manuel Pérez Lara, 58, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2025, in Dallas, Texas, where he resided for the past 35 years. He was born on March 14, 1967, in Tampamolón, San Luis Potosí, Mexico.

Carlos was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, whose love for life and generous spirit touched everyone around him. He immigrated to the United States in search of new opportunities and, with determination and long hours of hard work, built a successful painting business that reflected his commitment and perseverance.

Although he made his life in Dallas, he never forgot his roots and cherished every visit to Mexico. When he wasn't working, he was almost always surrounded by his family: tending the grill, a beer in hand, music playing loudly, and a soccer game on in the background. He loved ranch life, good food, and the laughter that filled the air. Carlos had a big heart and a generous spirit; he was the kind of man who never hesitated to help family or friends in need, no matter the time or circumstance. His joy came from being with his loved ones, sharing stories, joking with his sense of humor, and making everyone feel welcome. His family describes him as their pillar: strong, reliable, and full of love. His warmth, his laughter, and his endless willingness to help will be remembered by all.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Miriam, and his six children: Carolina, Blanca, Carlos, Karla, Alejandra, and Carlitos. He was a proud grandfather of Leonardo, Allison, Jayden, Jacob, Aria, and Carlos Eduardo. He is also survived by his siblings: Eneyda, Bertha, Elpidia, Rebecca, Francisca, Elpidio, Leopoldino, and Marily, as well as many nieces, nephews, and other relatives who will deeply miss him.

Carlos will be remembered for his big heart, his humor, his love of music and good company, and his endless willingness to help others. Carlos's life was a testament to perseverance, love, and joy.
