Carmen has lived in Mesquite, Dallas, Denton, Garland and Mineola Texas throughout her life, along with Portugal during the Navy, San Diego, CA post-Navy and finally to her resting place in Crandall, Texas. She is survived by her sister Karen Wimpey Downey and brother in-law, Billy Downey along with their children and grandchildren; and brother, Arlon “Butch” Wimpey, Jr., along with his children and grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends too numerous to mention. She was preceded in death by her father Arlon Wimpey Sr., Gloria Ragsdale Wimpey and younger brother Joe Wimpey.
