She passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at her home in Mesquite, TX, surround by family. Carolyn graduated from Clovis High School in May, 1964. She was born into a military family, attending 25 different schools throughout her young life. She met the love of her life on a Sunday in 1964 and they married in 1965. Carolyn worked at Mercantile National Bank in Dallas for 10 years. She then went to Texas Special Olympics and retired from there in 2008. She was a faithful and humble woman who loved the Lord and was actively involved in church activities. She had a quiet spirit and was a generous and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend. Surviving are her husband of 56 years, G.L. Craig; daughter, Pam Lane and son-in-law, Jack Lane; step-sons, Terry Craig, Don Craig and daughter-in-law Audrey Craig; sisters Patty Davis and Linda Parks; grandchildren, Amanda McGee, Krystle Meyer, Stephanie Spence, Don Craig Jr., Britney Nabours, Rachel Ramirez and Aaron Craig. Pallbearers will be Don Craig, Terry Craig, Jack Lane, Donnie Parks, Brian Davis and Aaron Craig. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Texas Special Olympics.
