Charla La'Nell Kennemore, 76, passed away on August 8, 2026. She was born on February 28, 1950, in Dallas, Texas, to Leonard Charles Williams and Leona Rose Van Voast. In her later years, Charla made her home in Sunnyvale, Texas.

Charla was a retired barber with a fun-loving spirit and a wonderful sense of humor. She was always up for a party and loved telling jokes, laughing, and having a good time with the people around her. She especially enjoyed country and western dancing and loved plants and gardening. Whether she was out dancing, sharing a joke, or tending to her plants, Charla had a way of enjoying the simple things in life.

More than anything, Charla leaves behind a family who loved her. She is survived by her three daughters, Windy Hernandez, Stormy Altonji and husband Andy, and Misty Wilson; eight grandchildren, Lauren Dudley, Ryan Nelson, Aaron Altonji and wife Brandy, Beth Berry and husband Adam, Hailey Altonji, Hannah Altonji, Rainy Kennemore, and Maci Clower and husband Caisen; five great-grandchildren, Delaney Nelson, Wyatt Dudley, Sawyer Dudley, River Miller, and Araylee Miller; and her brother, Leonard "Buddy" Williams. She is also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Charla was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard Charles Williams and Leona Rose Van Voast; her beloved sisters, Allie Lou Merriman and Jerry Ford; her nephew, Bill Duckworth, Jr.; and her great-niece, Gracie Jo Hoffman.

Charla will be remembered for her laughter, her love of a good time, and the many memories she created with those she loved. Her family will miss her dearly and will carry her memory in their hearts always.
