Charlcie Sue Ingram (Goss)

May 29, 1928 — February 12, 2021

Charlcie Sue Ingram(Goss) also known to many as MamaSue was born May 29,1928 and passed away peacefully on February 12, 2021 surrounded by loved ones at the age of 39 and holding. Sue is survived by her loving husband of 39 years Larry Ingram, daughters Janna Dretzka and husband Bobby of Forney Tx, daughter Marian Brown and husband John of Ft Worth, TX, daughter Susan Carter and husband Charles of Dallas TX, and Great Granddaughter who was raised as her own Kierstyn Olivas. In addition to her children and spouse she is survived by her sister Joyce Hosick of Mesquite, Jeta Brewer of Canton Tx, numerous nieces and nephews, 11 Grand children, 32 Great Grandchildren and one Great Great grandchild, MamaSue was blessed to know and love 5 generations of her family. Sue was preceded in death by her daughter Dawn Parker of Garland, Texas and her parents Charles and Esther Goss of Wills Point, Texas. Sue spent her adult life as a real estate broker and investor, at one point in time she operated multiple real estate offices and a mortgage company mentoring many people in the industry, she continued to work 6 days a week until her final days. She married Larry on October 9, 1982 and they were members of The Park Community Christian Church in Mesquite Texas. Together they made sure all of their kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids knew what it meant to be loved, whether it be celebrating milestones like graduations, birthdays, weddings, and sporting events and making sure that at a minimum the whole family was together to celebrate her favorite holiday, Thanksgiving, over an elaborate feast. Education was a top priority for Sue, she did whatever it took to educate youth from pre school to college Sue helped anyway she could to ensure education was available and obstacles were removed. There are several graduates thanks to MamaSue’s giving spirit. Sue was much more than a loving wife, mother and grandmother, she loved her family and made sure they always knew it. Mamasue inspired all of her children and grandchildren to be the best they could be and they all have special memories with her like sledding down flagpole hill on cardboard boxes until she showed up with new sleds for her grandkids or weekends at the farm and those big country breakfasts she made. MamaSue will be missed by all who were blessed to know her amazingly kind soul. Celebration of Life for Sue will be held Saturday February 20, 2021 at 11am at The Park Community Christian Church 2701 Town East Blvd Mesquite Texas. In lieu of flowers the donations may be made to The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater North Texas.
