Charles Edward Browning

Mr. Charles Browning, age 81, passed away on May 19, 2023 with family by his side. Charles was born in Washburn, MO to Homer Browning and Kathleen Browning. Charles married Shirley Browning of Cassville, MO on March 24, 1967 in Arkansas. He was preceded in death by Homer Browning (Father), Shirley Browning (Spouse), Kathleen Browning (Mother). He is survived by his three children, Robert Browning and wife Melinda; Charlotte Oliver and husband Gaylon; and Tracie Davidson and husband David; five grandchildren, Cody Echard and wife Jessica; Zachary Echard and wife Sammi; Hollie Lawson, Jesse Browning, and Shaun Browning; five great-grandchildren, Cameron Horton, Mason Echard, Ivie Echard, Oliver Echard, and Autumn Echard; and sister, Carolyn Browning Swartz; and Dad will be missed by Puddin, his beloved Chiweenie, who laid by his side until his very last day. Charles graduated from high school in 1959 and enlisted into the Air Force in 1964 serving his country for 4 years. Charles was saved on November 2, 1979 and was called to the Lord's service that next summer. That is when he moved his family to Dallas, TX and attended Texas Baptist Bible Institute to prepare himself for doing the Lord's work. He worked for 25 years at H&K Steel and retired in 2008. Charles loved his wife, kids, and the Lord with all his heart. Visitation will be held May 26, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at First Baptist Church of Meadowview, 4346 N. Galloway Ave, Mesquite, TX 75150. Services for Mr. Charles Browning will be held on Friday, May 26, 2023, at 11:00 at First Baptist Church of Meadowview with Bro. Roy Blair, Jr. officiating.
