Charles Allan Goodwin, 63, passed away on July 30, 2026, in Dallas, Texas.

Charles was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife, Yvette Goodwin of Forney; his mother, Betty Goodwin; his daughter, Kimberly Adams; his cherished grandchildren, Madelyn Adams and Thomas Adams; his brothers, Stacy Goodwin and Chris Goodwin; and numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews including Joe Soukup, Victoria Goodwin, Chance Adams, Ramona Adams, Quincy Adams, Michael LeBlanc, Alan LeBlanc, Belva Jean LeBlanc, LeRoy LeBlanc, Cameron LeBlanc, Sara Goodwin, and Dalan Goodwin.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Goodwin, and his sister, Charlotte Soukup.

Charles had a deep appreciation for life's simple pleasures. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, studying history, taking an interest in antique tractors, watching Western movies, and barbecuing-something he was especially good at, following in the footsteps of his father, who owned a BBQ business. He was especially proud of being recognized by D Magazine for his excellence in bee removal, a testament to his skill and dedication.

A Celebration of Life for Charles Allan Goodwin will be held at a later date.

Charles will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his love of family, and the lasting impact he made on those around him.
