Charlotte Low

Charlotte Low, 96, passed away on January 15, 2024 in Mesquite, TX.

Charlotte was born on March 2, 1927 to Chester Gardner and Pearl Gardner near Italy, TX.

Charlotte married Marlin Low on May 10, 1947 in Dallas, TX. The couple had 3 children, Forrest Low (deceased), Charles Low of Hawkins, and Marilyn Trull of Mesquite.

Charlotte was known for being a sweet and caring person. She was always meeting the needs of others through encouragement and deeds.

Charlotte enjoyed making crafts, cake decorating, baking, and painting. She had a small business for a time in Quitman and Sulphur Springs of cake decorating., and she was affectionately named "the Pie Lady" by her Sunday School Class.

Charlotte is survived by Charles Low - son, and wife Linda of Holly Lake Ranch near Hawkins, Marilyn Trull - daughter of Mesquite.

Charlotte is also survived by 5 granddaughters.

Allison Low, Jennifer Ballard and husband Trey, Melanie Turner and husband Phillip, Sarah Beth Hernandez, and Stephanie Bonneau and husband Ron.

Charlotte also survived by 8 great-grand children and many nieces and nephews.

Charlotte is preceded in death by Marlin Low - spouse, Chester Gardner - father, Pearl Gardner - mother, Forrest Low - son, and siblings Hubert Wood, Billie Barton, and Glynn Gardner.

The service for Charlotte will be held on:

January 27, 2024

11:00 AM

New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale, TX.

Visitation will precede the service at 10:00 AM

There will be no graveside service.

Charlotte requested in lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude's in her name would be appreciated for non-family members.
